Alexandra Lemus is an American actor of Salvadoran-Indigenous heritage.
Her acting career kicked off when she was cast in Josefina Lopez’s “Detained in the Desert” which premiered at LALIFF. She produced and starred in the Che Walker short film “Lexi and Micky”, as well as several independent films. Her favorite TV credit aside from “Dr. Death”, is playing over the top telenovela star, Señorita Mujer, on TruTv.
She's worked on various commercial and print jobs including a Coinmaster Spot with Thalia, A Fox Sports promo with Tom Brady, State Farm, Verizon, Citibank, Walmart, Black+ Decker, Ambetter, and Take 5 Oil amongst others.
Alexandra is a graduate of the Stella Adler Academy of Acting. While finishing her training, she booked a workshop of a new play at the Center Theatre Group and had the opportunity to join AEA. This prompted her to move to NYC and pursue a career in theater. She’s worked on stages in New York and around the region. Favorite credits include: Laughs in Spanish (Kitchen Theatre Company) two workshops of the broadway revival of August: Osage County directed by Tony Winner David Cromer. Born and raised in Los Angeles, her first taste of the entertainment industry came when she was an apprentice for the news desk at KABC-TV and as a promos and show producer for LATV Networks.
Alexandra has always loved the arts and photography. She is incredibly grateful to be able to do this as her dream job. She volunteers with organizations that bring the arts to inner city kids. She volunteers with The 52nd Street project in Hell’s Kitchen and The Los Angeles Repertory Theatre in East LA. When she’s not acting she relishes her family time, dancing her butt off at Zumba, roller skating, and traveling.
